The common string running through my personal and professional life has been a focus on trying to bring about a Holistic approach to Education.

Personal Life: I enjoy time with my family. I am married with three children and two wonderful grandchildren, Alhamdulillah. I also stay mentally and physically active through my numerous interests.

Professional life: My Professional background is as a Science teacher. I have been a senior management and leadership team member in a few Secondary Schools. I enjoyed working with likeminded dedicated professionals. I served a three-year term on the Aylesbury Masjid Executive Committee; this gave me a real insight into the needs of our local community.

These experiences have equipped and motivated me to be a small cog in the immensely important and exciting dawa work of Al-Kahf Foundation.

Born and raised in Aylesbury I have been passionately involved in community projects for the last 12 years. Working in the IT profession I have used my skills to create a home broadcasting solution named AirMyPrayer to fulfil the spiritual needs of those who are unable to attend in person to the houses of worship in Aylesbury.
In my spare time I like to read, discuss religion & spirituality, keeping fit, cycling and socialising

I’m an English teacher and writer of novels, short stories, drama and poetry.
Born and brought up in Aylesbury in the UK, I developed a love for writing stories and reading English literature as a child, which culminated in me later becoming an English teacher in local secondary schools. In 2014, I published my first novel, the mystical thriller, The Hidden Ones, and thereafter I published a book of short stories and poetry. I have performed poetry and short story readings throughout the UK in various mosques and other venues.
I have taught English as a secondary school teacher for up to twenty years in the UK, holding positions like second in English, Head of Year, Whole School Literacy Coordinator, PGCE Mentor and Reading Projects Coordinator.

Having been born and bred in Aylesbury, I balance my time commuting to central London working as a Project Consultant and chaperoning four demanding kids to various activities and clubs. I enjoy following Luton Town FC and being part of community events to develop and bring value to the community.
